Incredible hospitality, fabulous view and tranquil atmosphere. Sorry to be leaving so soon.Malee wizel
The most Closest to new friendship Bridge #4 in town. Price for minivan @50 baht per person. We have a free wifi. Open for 15 years a lot of European traveler and cozy place. Nice view of Mekong river and can run at the river walk no traffic. Beautiful Sun rise and you can see Laos at terrace. Closest to 7/11 shop and fresh market. Great Thai curry and Old beer!peihan tseng
Nice and warm place located by the river facing Laos. Old-fashioned yet furnished double suite with a veranda to observe those little boats and cars passing by. Or just walk a bit northward you will find a small beach where many locals go in afternoon.
The village has its own pace unlike other hotspots. It's a place u get chance to explore on ur own and not get bothers.Robert Eriksson
Stayed here for a while, as I had to take care of some things before heading to Laos. The WiFi signal was poor in my tiny room at the bottom, but it worked on the tables outside. Very nice people running this guest house. Tell them when you're ready to go to Laos and they will make a call for the minibus to get you to the border in the morning.jin lee
I stayed here about 3days before 4years ago. I miss this guesthouse and beautiful manager. Kidteung makkk. Mindy Del Rey

Great and efficient but damp in bottom roomSam P
Great and cheap place overlooking the beautiful Mekong River. The host is a very intelligent, well-spoken and kind woman who will help you with transport to the Laos border for cheap.jy040404
Too many mosquitos insects it's not my place. Just remember it's old wooden house. People steping on your upper floor because main door and the common area is on your top, It's noisy. Price is ok. There's river view and the garden. They speak English well.lifeneeds nobrakes
Amazing view. Very old house. Host is very nice. A bit noisy in the morning due to the wooden floors.Stephie Glass
Great price, perfecto to spend the night before crossing over the Laos. The staff is very kind, beds are soft and the view is amazingTyler Peterson
Great for the price. We got a private room with a balcony overlooking the border, the Mekong river that separates Thailand and Laos. The woman that runs the hostel is very knowledgeable about the area and she is also very warm and inviting. I suggest you let her know of your plans she was able to help us. We and some other travelers were heading to the border in the morning to jump on the slow boat to Pak Beng and then Luang Prabang (which I think most travelers here are doing the same). You need a tuk tuk or taxi to the border which you would have to walk back to the bus station to get but she had a songthaew waiting for us at 8:00 a.m. I think it was 50 baht per person. She also had breakfast available before the ride to the border. There is Western and also Thai style breakfast with coffee. The Western breakfast has toast, eggs, coffee, and a plate of fruit at 100 baht and the Thai breakfast was rice soup, cooked veggies, and a Thai omelette for 80 baht. and offered to prepare a lunch for the boat ride but we did not buy those. Overall great stay and the only negative was the damn rooster being loud.
