My wife and I honeymooned here. I almost feel like writing a review is useless, as words cannot begin to describe how amazing this resort is. The authentic, other-worldly service is seemingly unparalleled in resorts in today's day and age. Between my wife and I, we have been to more than 30 countries, but have never found ourselves more in love with our hotel. I will bullet/highlight some points below, look no further in your search for a hotel:

- Built approx. 10 years ago, everything is brand new
- Picked up directly from airport, on time, in private car
- Check in was done privately, in our room at 1:00 AM by a happy, excited member of the Naka team (truly incredible)
- Every single thing we emailed Naka about regarding our excursions was taken care of and ready to go (8 days in Phuket, 7 excursions)
- Pool in our villa, along with two outdoor showers, an outdoor bath, and a steam room
- 3 different fans inside/outside our villa, with great central A/C system inside the villa (truly a must have, the "feel like" temp. was 110 degrees today

One of the single most outstanding attributes of the hotel (and one of the single best attributes I have ever personally seen in a hotel) is their ability and willingness to help with your transportation. They run from golf cart to golf cart making sure guests are shuttled wherever they need to go. When returning from the private dock (they have a speedboat that guests are taken to and from the Island, complimentary) there is a golf cart waiting for you, with a fresh water and a smiling employee. Truly incredible.

Look no further, The Naka Island Resort is indescribably incredible.

This is the perfect place to stay if you want peace and relaxation! The friendly staff was quick to accommodate our requests. If you are adventurous venture to the local village, but beware the path is a muddy road and offers very little in terms of comfort. But once you make it through there is a great pier with some spectacular views.

The spa is first class and very affordable. The Restaurants offer a variety of food and it very good. I was not please with the quality of the steak that I got and would avoid the private dinner again and choose to just dine at the restaurant.

I recommend speaking with the activities team by the pool as they can arrange a private long tail boat tour of various sites in the bay. I would say that this was the highlight of our stay. Apart from the luxury of the villas of course!

World class sunsets and service, plus a great spa and activities (biking, paddle board, kayak etc) included in your stay. Every accommodation is a villa with great character and private outdoor baths and splash pools. We found the main restaurant to be far superior to the "My Grill" surf and turf dinner restaurant option. Did I mention free ice cream from 2p-5p?

A stunning island paradise! Very happy and helpful staff, great food, one of the most unique and natural spas I have ever been to. The rooms are unbelievable- quaint and organic feel with all of the luxuries of a resort. One of a kind! I highly recommend!

Beautiful place worth staying, the only inconvenience is getting to mainland by the hotel's speed boat, with fixed times a day. Nevertheless I would come back for sure. Great service and the spa/massages are a must.

Amazing hotel, really exclusive. What I like:

- short 5-10 minute ferry ride from the mainland
- service is great and strong attention to detail
- pool overlooking the main island, so beautiful! It's not really a pool designed for swimming just for chilling
- every room is a villa, some have their own pools
- the views
- free ice-cream!

What could be better:
- some of the design elements of the rooms are weird, like the bathroom being a walk away from the room, and the toilet locks from the outside
- there's a mangrove nearby, which means lots of mosquitoes

Beautiful, it felt like paradise every second I was there. We stayed in the tropical pool villa that included steam room, pool, lounging area that were all private. Complimentary breakfast was the best I've ever had, soft croissants, fresh honey from the honey comb, and an assortment of the sweetest fruits. Complimentary activities like yoga and cooking curry were so fun. The staff were helpful and hospitable. The only minor complaint I would have would be that the toilet was far from the bed and the ceiling fan had a timer, so it had to be constantly turned back on. Otherwise, it was heaven on earth.

Beautifully serene paradise! They have activities and water sports to keep you busy but if you're looking for a quite, peaceful relaxing time with amazing views and even better customer service - this is the place for it! We visited on the last leg of our honeymoon tour of Thailand and wished we could have spent more time there. Will definitely be returning in the future.

If you love to do little but really relax then this is the place to be. Rooms are like flinstone bedrock rooms which are totally comfortable yet simple. Food is simple but high quality and tasty. Breakfast bar is huge and should fill anyone up till dinner. Spa is top notch and relaxing too. Best reserved for the staff. Customer Service manager Oliver is so committed to excellence. Nothing is ever too much trouble. Head Chef Jonathon has a great sense of humour and isn't happy unless he sees people smiling. He will make anything for you if it's not on the menu. Imagine someone asking if they can help you by bringing something over from the mainland for you!! Just a fantastic bunch of people. This is my third time here, each at least a 10 day stay and it's just conistently perfect. Thank you

The place is original and very exotic! The villas are spacious and well equipped, very quiet during night. The massage was great and relaxing. The pool was the best of all the places, which is right in front of the beach. The food was good too. The only thing was many mosquitos and little lizards...

An amazing resort on an exclusive island. The entire team are passionate and truly welcome every guests. For parents with young kids, make sure they are adventurous enough to come in close contact with some of insects since the resort is located in a tropical island.

My mother and I are on vacation. We didn't know where to go, but this placed seemed really nice. As soon as we got to the island, we were greeted wholeheartedly by the staff; told about the lore, drank sweet lemongrass water, and were given a tour. The views are beautiful, with mountains and water complimented by the sun in a seemingly perpetually clear sky. The rooms are GORGEOUS. We almost (okay, we DO) feel spoiled. The staff attend to our every need and treat us like royalty. There's also a gym, which I was looking forward to. The alcohol is also very good! They have a deal where for 680 baht (per person) you get a plate of chicken wings and unlimited beer for two hours. Then there's the infinity pool/outside lounging area that's usually not too busy, and you can sit outside and relax with service ready at any moment (free ice cream from 2 to 5). If you have don't like being in public, rest assured you can have your needs met in your suite. I recommend the higher level villas, like with a private pool and such. Worth the money. Overall, I'm having a very pleasant experience here so far, and I look forward to my remaining week here!

Truly the most amazing place to relax and enjoy. The staff are Totally Awesome. Food is always excellent. Nothing is too much trouble. Spent time in the Pool a lot. Clean and not overpowered with chlorine.. this is Definitely a must go to island. Thank you Oliver for Making our stay Extraordinary. This has to be the Jewel of the Islands.

What an amazing place! The moment we got there we were treated like royalty. The villas are very spacious and well equipped. I really liked how the entire place was connected to the nature that surrounds it.

Both of the restaurants were really good and had amazing food and cocktails. We especially liked the fried rice with prawns and pineapple.

The Z bar was really good too, but he menu didn't have a variety of options.

The Naka Island Luxury Collection is a wonderful choice for upscale lodging. The rooms are huge and private. It’s a short boat ride to the resort and it’s a place to get away from all the hustle and bustle.
