This place is a must! Really beautiful and inviting - worth at least 3-4 hours. It is pricey (750 pp) and they charge double if you are a tourist and not Thai. I find it cheeky! Still, worth the money. Enjoy ;)Julien Michaud
A fun experience. Watch out for the sun, though, as it gets really hot. I have been a few times and my daughter loves it. They are constantly building new structures albeit slowly. I'd recommend renting a bike or a golf cart if you're with young children or the elderly.Ian Black
I went along December 2016.
It was easy for mt to get here as I had rented a scooter. Would hate to guess how much or how long it would take by taxi.
Once I got my ticket (700 baht for farang) and an audio guide i was told i could either, walk round, use a cycle or get on the tour bus.
I went for the tour bus and it went around the park and stopped at various points so i could get off and wander around. There is lots to see here and some interesting buildings and items within. I was surprised how good it was.
Half way round and we stopped at the little floating market and there is a little restaurant if you want something to eat.
I carried on by cycle and saw more that way.
I enjoyed my visit.KhunGade ISE
I have been here more than 10 times. I'm very impressed with it every year it change new things and never stop making new buildings. High recommend for tourists and locals. This place crowded on the weekend come during the week day if you can. Bicycle ride is better way to explore the place. There is the hotel here and bungalow for a group or family.Angela Atherton
This is a fun family outing. We have done it with bike and golf cart both were a good time. It is a great place to take guests that will not have an opportunity to travel to many locations within Thailand. It is not a cheap experience but still worthwhile. It is best to go when it is not too hot.KEV WYATT
A fantastic place to visit. To get the best from this place it will take up your day. A good tip is if you drive your own car they will let you drive it around the park. If you don't have your own car you can hire golf buggies by the hour but this can work out very expensive. The other option to get around is by free push bikes. There are many places to eat & drink around the park at reasonable prices & quite good food. There are also little market stalls around the park to buy souvenirs.Colin McEvoy
I was hoping to write a good review as I had been here 4 times before and always enjoyed it, but now full of many, many Chinese and Korean tour buses. So many that it is impossible to cycle around the park. Even when they are parked, the drivers leave the engines running for the people inside to have air-con. So exhaust fumes pollute the place. We gave up cycling after 2 hours and walked back. I will not come back again. I want my money back. Awful, awful, awful. Do not come here.Prince Re
speechless. worth the money to get in. next time will spend a whole day there. great experience going around with a golf cart and biking. entrance fee is discounted after 5pm. amazing work by the foundation. great miniatures and buildings. yummy and cheap foods outside of the area and would come back to some restaurants inside, around the floating village. cant forget how amazing the milk tea was!張玄昊Spike
It's a clean, nice planed thai culture theme park. Here u can see many duplicates of famous relics in the country. Some of them even restored to their original status. So it's not merely a copy. I recommend this place to all kinds of visitors.Justin Murgai
This is one of my favourite ways to explore the cultural heritage of Thailand. Grab a golf cart and a free audio guide and go through the exhibit according to the numbers mapped out. You’ll be there the whole day, but the experience is very educational and humbling.Larisa Grajdieru
Amazing place to visit! I highly recommend to everyone. The best to visit during the cold season and during the week-days if you do not like the crowds and the heat. This place is huge so it has to be visited either by golf cars or bike (both provided on site) and this makes the experience even better. This place is the work of a person who dedicated his entire life to bring to life replicas of historical buildings from all over Thailand. Great to visit with kids and learn important things about the Thai history!Tess Robinson
Tours of replica ancient and culturally significant buildings from Siam and ancient Thailand. We took a bus tour of the entire park disembarking at key locations to explore and hear stories about certain areas. Enjoyable day out! There is a convenience store on site for drinks and snacks. I would recommend the bus or self driven buggies as the park is massive and it must be pretty tiring to cycle the entire thing! Prepare to take a lot of photos. Being there for around 1600-1700 is ideal as you have a beautiful sunset backdrop.Kashif Razzak Misidia
Ancient city ... very calm and very historical place is that..
We can see real respect of culture and heritage here. Very beautiful location.. very nice and friendly people..
Overall that was a fantastic experience to visit here..
Really fun time if not crowded. Grab a bike or golf cart and get a glimpse into the various wonders of Thailand. Get the iced coffee or tea along with the coconut cup dessert from the market. Really good!Gordon McIntosh
To be honest, when my wife suggested we visit the Ancient City, I thought it would be another typical tourist trap. I could not have been more wrong. Every aspect was professional, the staff, vehicles, displays, everything. First thing, the place is very large, over 800 Rai or 300+ acres. We took the free bus first for a quick 30 minute tour, to see where we wanted to concentrate. Then we rented a golf cart and drove to those places. The cart was well maintained and the price included insurance! I could go on for pages but the bottom line is this place is really worth seeing.Richard Thomas
Fascinating - though we didn't know you could reserve a golf cart ahead of time - and that would have made it all the better. We joined the regularly scheduled tour bus - which was fine - but touring on our own would have been fun. The tour guide was mostly in Cantonese - left little for us English speakers to understand. But a lot of effort has gone in to preserving this culture and beautiful buildings, temples, markets, etc. Definitely worth the visit.Nok Hunter
Amazing place. I especially liked pavilion of the enlightened. One of the first attractions is a huge golden temple on the right, I suggest seeing it last, it's absolutely mind blowing. I also enjoyed the water garden with statues of various Hindu gods.
It's half price if you enter late in the day but I strongly advise arriving early in the morning, the place is huge with a lot to see.Sohail Akhtar
The Ancient City is the door opening to the heritage of Thai wisdom. With a wide range of architectural symbols combined with fine arts and craftsmanship, structural layout and natural environment that integrate harmoniously, The Ancient City creates kind of atmosphere that induces visitors to perceive and appreciate the continuity of history, cultures, religions, arts and customs of Thai people from dawn until now.
Just a visit to the Ancient City is comparable to a Thailand-round journey within a day.
The layout preserves the pattern of traditional Thai lifestyles, which is hard to behold nowadays.
In vicinity of Suwananbhumi Airport, only about 40 minutes away
Located in the neighbourhood of Bangkok, only one-hour travel, the Ancient City is accessible by many convenient routes.
Accommodations and activity sites are available.

This is one of the most unique places we have ever visited. The grounds are exceptionally well kept as are the buildings - many original, some replicas that are full and scaled down models. The park is in the shape of Thailand. On our trip we hired a golf buggy (you need to leave your driving licence as security) to travel around the park however you can also walk, cycle or have a conducted tour on one of the trams. Recorded tours via headphones are available however there is informative sineage at each building. We also had an enjoyable and very inexpensive meal in the cafe opposite the ticket office. We feel the whole experience is well worth the entrance fee. We'll certainly be back again!
